As I stated yesterday, HUD Homes are available for the $100 down payment program. However, beside that, you can purchase a HUD Home with $100 down in conjunction with an FHA 203k Streamline purchase of your new home in the Eugene or Creswell Oregon area. Right now, the only HUD Homes listed in Lane County are in Eugene or Creswell. The list changes often however, and you probably should be checking often to see what is available. Read More

The great thing about these properties is that they are first offered to people in the Eugene/Springfield, Lane County Oregon area that are going to use them for their primary residence. Springfield Home Ownership Program (SHOP) out of funds

According to an e-mail I received this morning from Jodi Peterson, Management Analyst, Springfield Community Development and Housing, the Springfield Home Ownership Program (SHOP) is out of funds until July 1, 2010. The SHOP program provides down payment and closing cost assistance to low to moderate income borrowers for the purchase of their first home in Springfield Oregon.
