FHA Loans Are BEST for First Time Home Buyers
Those of you that have read my blogs in the past know that I am a great proponent of FHA loans for First Time Home Buyers. There are a number of reasons for this but one of the biggest for me right now is that FHA appraisals do not have to be ordered through the HVCC (Home Value Code of Conduct). That means that if there is a specific property that needs someone that has expertise in that type of property, I can order the appraisal from the appraiser with the best qualifications.
I am not a fan of the HVCC but am learning to live with it. However, when working with FHA loans, I don’t have to learn to live with the program, yet. All FHA loans require appraisals done by FHA approved appraisers, an extra certification process that gives FHA a bit more control over the appraisal end of lending.
If I can help you in your search for the best loan for your circumstances, please give me a call at 541-342-7576/541-221-3455 Cell, or e-mail at eugenloanguy@gmail.com. I am here to assist in anyway that I can.
